| Ferret Friends of Pittsburgh is a small ferretry run from my home in Pittsburgh, PA since 1999. In order to give the kits the best quality care and attention - I only produce a limited number of ferrets each year, usually 2-3 litters. Selective breeding and handling from birth ensures our kits to have excellent conformation and temperments. All kits have extensive, well documented lineages, many of which go back 10 generations or more and include German, Australian, New Zealand and American bloodlines. I am a member of the American Ferret Association and a board member of the Three Rivers Ferret Council. I also volunteer & have a board position at the Ferret Hide-E-Hole Rescue, Pittsburgh's only ferret shelter. |

FFP's Tippy - Best Alter - Buckeye Bash 2006 |
FFP focuses on providing quality companions to ferret owners at a reasonable cost ~ our babies are best known for their size and sweet nature, not the amount of trophies won. However, in the ferretry's 10 years, we have several Best of Show winners and a multitude of Championship & Specialty class winners. Recently FFP's Tippy (owned by Kathy & Jeff Stewart) was awarded the top honor.. Alter of the Year 2007 and we have a famous family member!
| Kits are sold intact (not altered) with a pet spay/neuter contract. Breeding ferrets are only sold to approved breeders. I only breed my jills once per year and only until they are 4 years old. Retired breeding ferrets are sometimes available for adoption, but I usually keep them for the remainder of their lives. All of our ferrets are tested for ADV and are negative. |

Transportation of your new pet is your responsibility. If you would like to purchase a ferret from us, you must either visit the ferretry (by appointment), meet us at a show or other ferrety event we are attending. We can make other arrangements on a case-by-case basis.
