FFP's Miss Alabama

Name: "Allie"
Sex: Jill
Color: Chocolate
Birthdate: April 2, 2004
Breeder: Ferret Friends of Pittsburgh
Sire: TCF's Jeagermeister of FFP
Dam: FFP's Talladega

Allie was bred several times, each resulting in no kits until March of 2007 when she had a litter of 5 and proceeded to shred the kits to pieces :o( I was able to save our beautiful Meeper and that is all... that made up my mind that Allie was not going to be a good momma and she was spayed.
What she lacked in mothering skills - she added in showing - surprising me with a terrific showing at the 2005 AFA Winter Nationals competition! She came away with a 1st place trophy in the Breeders Championship class in ring 1, a 2nd place in ring 2 and a 9th place in ring 3. She was awarded Best Opposite Breeder! Wow! I truly didn't expect it, but I guess the judges agreed with me that she is a wonderful girl :O) She has since received her Gold certificate and is retired from showing.

1st place Breeder Championship 12/3/05 1st place Breeder Championship 12/3/05

Allie was our pick of Tally's 2004 litter with Jeager. I think Allie is a beautiful chocolate, now a point - with a wonderful structure and temperment. Allie is the only ferret I have ever seen able to turn on and off the lights. She can use the switch with both her paw and her teeth, she is definitely a handful!
