River came to our ferretry in 2007. I fell in love with him when he was just 5 weeks old, with his eyes barely open. He is the most beautiful chocolate color and I just adore him to pieces. He is co-owned with me by Scarlett's Happy Dookers, but he lives here with us in Pittsburgh. River has many personality pros - he "dooks" constantly - you can have a conversation with him.. he likes to swim and he gives great ferret kisses. However, he was born with the ability to fly and can leap right out of a "playpen" with no hesitation.

River was first bred in 2008 with Jackie and had one kit survive born to Rouge in April 2009.
